Description

SILKOLENE PRO SRG 75 is a synthetic SAE 75W-80 gear oil developed exclusively for racing transmissions. This grade has a naturally high viscosity index ensuring good low temperature performance and excellent shear strength, as well as possessing excellent load carrying capability. The synthetic base oils used in this formulation have an oxidation stability 3 to 4 times that of conventional mineral oils, prolonging the life of the lubricant even when working under extreme conditions. SILKOLENE PRO SRG 75 significantly reduces internal friction leading to increased power output and potentially improved fuel economy. Both the base oil and additive technology ensure reduced pitting and wear of the gear teeth despite the low viscosity. SILKOLENE PRO SRG 75 provides superior protection and performance under the most demanding race conditions.

The unique combination of low viscosity and high load carrying ability of SILKOLENE PRO SRG 75 ensures excellent lubrication and prevents overheating in gearbox components such as selector forks and bearings.

Application

SILKOLENE PRO SRG 75 has been designed for small high speed gearboxes handling high power outputs. It withstands very high temperatures and protects against the high shock loads to which racing gearboxes are often subjected. It is suitable for some wet clutch systems and also assists slick gear changing while reducing clutch drag through the operating temperature range.

NOTE: Not suitable for hypoid applications.
